  35. My name is Corky Engel and I'm new to this group. My partner and I 
  36. recently purchased the Sony VX1000. We have a Flyer system that we 
  37. use.We,ve had the camera for about 2weeks now and the picture sure looks 
  38. as good as anything I've seen on Betacam. No bleeding,no dot crawl, no 
  39. dropouts and it has some pretty cool shutter and f-stop effects. We've 
  40. digitized into the Flyer from its Y/C out and using HQ-5 mode we really 
  41. can't tell the original from the Flyer playback. I'm hoping Newtek or 
  42. some third party will figure out a way for us Flyer owners to take 
  43. advantage of this here Firewire technology.
